They contain more than 42,000 fiberglass strands for greater tensile strength and superior accuracy when tension is applied.Temperature correction is not necessary.These tapes have proven dielectric strength of 200,000 V/M to assure your safety from electrical hazards

Fiber Counts & Tape Weight
The weight of the tape is a factor to consider. With our Ultra-Glass tapes, we pack the strongest possible fiber counts into the thinnest possible tapes to keep the weight down while keeping the blades strong.

Elongation
Tapes elongate (stretch) when excessive pulling force is applied. Ultra-Glass always returns to its proper length after the pulling stops. Our extremely high fiberglass strand count is the reason. To keep your measurements as accurate as possible, don̢۪t pull too hard on your tape.
