These blankets are to protect you against and contain Bomb Blasts. Made with KEVLAR tm with a Nomex tm fire resistant coating. Will contain explosions from a large variety of bombs. We offer different levels of bomb and ballistic blankets.

Introduction
Breacher Blanket
The U.S. Armor Breacher Blanket provides a portable, flexible, lightweight multi-purpose means of protection. It is designed to provide protection from explosive entry devices. The blanket allows an officer (or group of officers) to stand next to a door whilst it is being explosively breached, thus reducing the time from opening to entry.
It is manufactured from multiple layers of aramid fabric, within a durable coated fire retardent polyester cover. Heavy-duty nylon webbing loop handles make it easy to carry. It folds for compact storage.
Design
The Breacher Blanket is made from state of the art materials making it extremely light and flexible. This means it can be easily deployed and carried by a single officer. The blanket can be folded for simple storage. The handles make transportation straightforward and deployment easy. The blanket can also be used as a stretcher in an emergency, with enough room to allow 6 people to help carry an injured man. The cover is a fire retardant polyester with hardwearing Cordura strips on the top and bottom. Hard spars are fitted to the top and bottom to give the blanket rigidity when deployed.
Size
The blanket measures a nominal 78 high and 32 wide.
Weight
Due to the state of the art fabrics used, the average weight of the Breacher Blanket is only 12lbs (5.5kg).
Protection
The blanket protection is based on U.S. Armor mine clearance experience and will provide protection from Fragmentation with a V50 of up to 450m/s.
Color
The breaching blanket is available in black with a Velcro patch in the middle to attach any logo or badge, such as POLICE. The nylon cover and webbing handles are black.
Robustness
The blanket has been designed specifically to meet the rigours of Police and military life. It is tough, durable and will withstand rough handling.
Maintainability
The outer cover protects the soft armour within. It is made from a fire retardant polyester, which is tough and durable. It can be sponged down with warm soapy water for cleaning.
Durability
As the cover is waterproof and seals the armour from the environment, it can be used in all climatic conditions.
Warranty
The soft armour packs are warranted to be free from defects in the materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of manufacture, as shown on the label.
The U.S. Armor fabric cover is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of eighteen months from the date of purchase. This warranty is terminated if the carrier has been abused or the laundry instructions are not followed.
U.S. Armor reserves the right to recall and inspect any equipment subject to a warranty claim prior to settlement.
