For the Specialized Operator, U.S. Armor has developed a number of Mission Specific tactical items such as our new Bomb Blanket, with exclusive Tent Stitching® pattern, and our "user-friendly" Breacher Blanket for safe, effective explosive entries, as taught by the R.E.S.T. and T.E.E.S. breacher schools.
These blankets are to protect you against and contain Bomb Blasts. Made with KEVLAR tm with a Nomex tm fire resistant coating. Will contain explosions from a large variety of bombs. We offer different levels of bomb and ballistic blankets.

U.S. ARMOR CORPORATION ENFORCER SERIES ® MODEL USA BALLISTIC/BOMB BLANKET SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS
1.0 SCOPE
The following specifications detail the style and capability of a Ballistic/Bomb Blanket. The Blanket shall provide threat-facing ballistic protection capable of defeating handgun, and sub-machine gun threats as specified below, effectively creating a flexible shield to be deployed as needed. The Blanket shall also provide protection against Fragmentation from explosive devices to a minimal resistance rating of 450/mps by suppressing and dissipating the blast wave in either an equidistant pattern or a specifically directed pattern as required, when operated by a trained, qualified EOD Technician.
2.0 SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS
All Blankets are manufactured in the U.S.A. The following minimum specifications and standards are listed for the purpose of establishing a level of construction, quality and performance that shall be expected.
1. Federal Standard NIJ-STD-0101.04 September, 2000 for Threat Level Type IIA, II, IIIA and FRAG.
2. Federal Standard No. 751, Stitches, Seams and Stitching.
3. Military Specifications, Mil-F-21840, Fastener Tapes, Hook and Pile, Synthetic.
4. Military Specifications, Mil-T-43548, Thread, Cotton, and Polyester Core.
5. Military Specifications, Mil-C-44050, Kevlar Cloth, Ballistic Aramid.
6. Military Specifications, Mil-T044100, Kevlar Thread, Aramid, Tex-105.
7. U.S. Department of Justice, NIJ V-50 Test; Fragmentation
3.0 CONFIGURATION
The general configuration shall be of the multi-layered Aramid material type covered in a durable Cordura Nylon skin, with grip handles and mounting grommets installed for ease of storage, transportation, deployment and operation. The dimensions of the Blanket will be 6 x 6, square.
4.0 MATERIALS
All materials shall be first quality; new, unused, and without flaws that affect appearance, durability and function. Materials shall conform to the appropriate specification listed herein.
4.1A PERMANENT COVER SPECIFICATIONS:
The Blanket cover, (outer surface) shall be constructed of a 500 denier Nylon, backed with urethane for moisture and water repellency.

4.3 BALLISTIC PANEL SPECIFICATIONS
All ballistic panels shall be constructed of 100% Dupont Kevlar 129® Air Entangled Fibers for increased softness and flexibility. Each ballistic panel shall be constructed as follows:

5.0 SAMPLE

6.0 WARRANTY
The manufacturer shall warranty that for five years after the date of purchase, the Ballistic Blanket panel will prevent the penetration of labeled projectiles as per N.I.J. designated velocities and test methods, (N.I.J. STD. 0101.03 for Level IIA; NIJ. STD.0101.04 for II, and IIIA).
